Banjo is a 5-year-old, 72 lb gentleman who knows how to make an entrance with a wagging tail and shining eyes. He's a certified pro in public places, charming everyone he meets like an old friend. Banjo walks beautifully on a leash, sits on command, and is a fantastic car rider. He loves his daily strolls and adventures, but when he's home, he's all about the couch life, mastering the art of relaxation. This smart, polite, and low-maintenance companion is housebroken, crate trained, and a professional doggy door user.

Ideal Home

Banjo would thrive with someone experienced with larger dogs who can continue to reinforce his good habits. He prefers a smaller inner circle when it comes to other dogs, particularly certain males. He is not a good fit for homes with cats, pigs, or farm animals, though he is unbothered by birds.

Training & Support

Banjo is housebroken, crate trained, and a professional doggy door user. He walks beautifully on a leash and sits on command. While he is trained to ignore other animals on walks, he prefers to keep his doggy social circle small.

Transportation

Banjo is located in Mississippi and will be transported north once his adoption is finalized. Transportation is available and there are no transport fees.
