Mouse King

Mouse King is one of the Nutcracker Suite puppies who looks more like his dad, a purebred Komondor, than his mom, an Anatolian Shepherd. He was raised with chickens, ducks, geese, goats, dogs, and barn cats, so he has had a great diversity of exposure. When he was very young, Mouse King suffered a traumatic brain injury, believed to have been caused by a goat. While he seems healthy and is growing well, his intellectual development appears delayed compared to his siblings. He is very playful with other pups and can sometimes be a bit rambunctious, but he quickly backs off if corrected.

Ideal Home

Mouse King would thrive as a pet on a small homestead where he can live around livestock. He could also be a wonderful companion in a traditional suburban home with another playful dog.

Ongoing Health

Mouse King has a traumatic brain injury from when he was very young. While he seems healthy and robust, his intellectual development appears delayed.

Training & Support

Mouse King may not comprehend commands like "sit" as quickly as other puppies. We expect that he can learn house and potty training. Our experience with other special needs pups suggests that reasonable expectations and a willingness to love are the most important accommodations.
