Meet Mohawk, a delightful 15-pound Wirehaired Terrier mix with an estimated birthday of June 24, 2025. His adorable little faux hawk and soulful eyes are sure to capture your heart, but it's his gentle spirit that will truly win you over.

Mohawk was found as a stray and is still learning to trust that people can be kind, gentle, and loving. While he can be a bit timid at first, he blossoms a little more each day as he discovers the comfort of a warm bed, regular meals, and a safe home. Once he trusts you, you'll find an incredibly sweet companion who just wants someone to love. Mohawk needs a patient family to help him continue building his confidence and show him that the world isn't so scary, all at his own pace.

Transporation

Mohawk is located in Houston, TX. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles converted for dog transport. Adopters can track the van using the Life360 app and receive updates from transport.
