Tilly Willy, affectionately nicknamed Ms. Beefy, is a 3-year-old, 55 lb American Bully mix with a personality as delightful as her squishy, hippo-like build. She's a short, stocky, and utterly cuddly companion who absolutely adores people. Tilly forms strong bonds and will be your shadow, couch buddy, and biggest fan. She's lived successfully with a busy toddler and has proven to be incredibly patient, gentle, and happy around children of all ages. While she might offer a quick, excited jump when meeting new people, she responds well to gentle corrections and quickly settles. Her tail is always wagging, a happy indicator of her joyful spirit!
Ideal Home
Tilly would thrive in a home where she can be close to her people. She's already shown herself to be an excellent houseguest, enjoying free-roaming privileges and sleeping peacefully in her foster's room.

Training & Support
Tilly is crate-trained and very quiet in her kennel. She is fully potty-trained and has excellent house manners, never having accidents in her foster home. She's not destructive and prefers to stay close to her family. Tilly walks well on a leash, with only a slight pull when she spots a squirrel, which is easily corrected. She is also great with other dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and has consistently shown respect and gentleness around cats.

Tilly is currently in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You will be able to track her journey and receive updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
