Meet Peanut! This spunky pup is bursting with a big dog personality packed into a smaller frame. Peanut is a bundle of energy and just wants to share all his love and excitement with you! He's a smart and sweet boy who adores giving kisses and snuggling up on your lap. Peanut's past has been a little ruff, having had a close call with traffic, and we're committed to finding him a safe and loving forever home where he'll never feel alone or at risk again.

Ideal Home

Peanut is a social butterfly who gets very excited when he sees other dogs, and while his yips might sound a bit intense, he just wants to play! He's a playful nipper and tends to jump up when he's excited. Because of this, he'd do best in a home with older children. He's also a runner and sees escaping as a fun game, so secure doors and fences are a must to keep this adventurous pup safe. He can be a bit much for dogs who aren't tolerant of nippiness.

Ongoing Health

Peanut is a healthy young pup. He walks well on a leash and to ensure his safety, he wears both a harness and a martingale collar, as he can sometimes slip out of harnesses.

Training & Support

Peanut is still learning to manage his excitement. Guidance on redirecting his nipping and jumping behaviors will help him settle into his new home. Reinforcing his leash walking and door/fence manners will be key to his continued success.
