Meet Dozer, a 9-week-old puppy with a wonderfully sweet and independent personality. He loves to play with his siblings but is also perfectly content to entertain himself, making him a great fit for a home that appreciates a dog who can hold their own. Dozer has a curious and playful spirit, but also knows how to relax, making him suitable for a moderately active or even a more laid-back household. He has been raised around children and gets along well with them, though his calm demeanor might be especially appreciated by older kids who enjoy a more relaxed companion. Dozer enjoys toys and would likely thrive with another friendly dog to share his days.
Ideal Home
Dozer would do well in a home that understands his puppy needs. Since he is still learning, someone needs to be home more than they are away, as extended periods of crating are not ideal for his development. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, please explain who will be available to spend time with Dozer during that time.
Ongoing Health
Puppies under 6 months are adopted on a spay/neuter contract, and adopters will be responsible for having them altered when age-appropriate. $100 of your adoption donation will be refunded after you show proof of future spay/neuter.
Training & Support
Dozer is currently working on potty training and is kept in a puppy pen when unsupervised. He will need a committed family to teach him all the basic commands and house manners as he grows.

Transporation
Dozer is available for transport to approved adopters. Transports run every few weeks, and he will be placed on the next available transport once approved. If you have a specific time period when you are able to accept a dog, please apply at that time.
