Bronco is a gentle loverboy with soulful eyes and a gorgeous auburn stripe down his back, sprinkled with little tiger stripes. He moves through the world with a remarkable softness that’s impossible to ignore. At around 2 years old, he’s the perfect blend of adventure buddy and laid-back companion. While we think he’s a Shepherd/Plott Hound mix, with rescue, it’s always a best guess! Bronco loves his walks, hops into the car for rides, and is wonderfully easy on leash. He’s equally excited for a weekend adventure or a quiet evening relaxing by your side.
Ideal Home
Bronco would thrive in a calm and predictable home. He'd do best with adults, older children, or anyone who appreciates a quieter companion. While he hasn't been formally tested with children, we're happy to arrange a kid test for potential adopters.
Ongoing Health
Bronco has spent months recovering from medical care and is still learning that the world is a safe place. He can be a little reserved when meeting new people and needs a family willing to let him settle in at his own pace. He has no aggression, but he blossoms with patience, kindness, and understanding. Once he trusts you, his affectionate, cuddle-bug side will emerge.
Training & Support
Bronco is a total foodie and is highly food-motivated, especially with spray cheese! He's smart, eager to learn, and loves positive reinforcement, making training fun and rewarding. He walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, and is apartment-friendly.

- The adoption fee is $1200, which includes all vetting, microchip, a Martingale collar, a health certificate, and transport.
- There is an additional $87 surcharge for transportation due to rising costs.

Bronco is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. We have drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
