Dakota is a wonderful senior girl who proves that age is just a number! She is calm, sweet, and easy to live with, and would fit beautifully into just about any family looking for a gentle, well-mannered companion. Dakota has a laid-back, affectionate personality and absolutely loves spending time with her people, whether that’s relaxing at home or joining in on a nice stroll. She already knows her basics—sit, down, and paw—and is always happy to show them off for a tasty treat! Dakota walks nicely on leash, rides quietly and obediently in the car, and charms everyone she meets with her polite, friendly demeanor. While she’s not much interested in toys, she loves treats, grass, walks, and simply being included in whatever her people are doing. One of her favorite pastimes is splashing around in a kiddie pool, which she absolutely adores!

Dakota does drink a lot of water and needs frequent potty breaks, but otherwise she’s an easygoing, low-drama companion.

Dakota is fully house trained, good with dogs of all sizes, good with cats, and even familiar with using a dog door. She walks nicely on leash and rides quietly and obediently in the car.
