Daffy is a 2-year-old, 65-pound, neutered male Plott Hound Mix with a heart full of love and a tail ready to wag! He was a very lucky boy to be rescued from the euthanasia list at BARC in Houston, Texas, just moments before it was too late. Thanks to Dizzy Dog Animal Rescue and his incredible foster mom, Daffy got his second chance at life and is now ready to find his furever family. This fun-loving, playful guy thrives on activity and companionship. He adores playing with other dogs and is a star at doggy daycare! Daffy is fully house-trained and crate-trained, knows his name, and loves to play fetch. He enjoys being by his person's side and is eager to learn.
Ideal Home
Daffy would do best in a home with other playful dogs and an active family who can match his energy. Because of his size and excitement, he'd be a better fit for a home with children over 10, as he sometimes doesn’t realize his strength when he gets excited.

Training & Support
Daffy is still learning leash manners and tends to pull and zigzag, but he’s eager to learn with some guidance. When left unsupervised, Daffy may “relocate” household items to the yard, so crating him is recommended while you’re away. With patience and training, he’ll continue to grow into the wonderful companion he’s meant to be.

Transporation
Daffy is currently in a foster home in HOUSTON, TEXAS. He can be transported to an approved adopter. Transports run every few weeks and he will be on the next available transport once approved.
