Astro (27lb)

Astro is a 2-year-old, 25lb Heeler and Chi mix who was found wandering alone in a rough neighborhood in Texas. A kind volunteer took him in, and he's now fully vetted and ready to find his forever family. Astro is an eager-to-please boy who thrives on positive reinforcement. He's house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, making him a great companion for many adventures. Astro loves to be your number one pup and is highly motivated by food, toys, and treats. When he's not busy being a star, he enjoys quiet cuddles.

Ideal Home

Astro can be a bit of a "little man" and may occasionally nip at male dogs if he feels they're competing for treats or attention. He's currently living with 10 other dogs, so he's used to a multi-dog household, but a home with fewer male dogs or a very confident female dog might be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Astro is fully vetted and spayed/neutered.

Training & Support

Astro is eager to please and highly motivated by treats, which will make training a breeze! He's already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained.

Transporation

Astro is located in Ankeny, IA. Out-of-state adopters are welcome and private transport can be arranged for an additional $200, which includes a health certificate, vet exam, and transportation to your area.
