Oakley

Oakley is a sweet and smart 68lb Terrier/Pitbull mix with an estimated birthday of 12/16/2021. He's a true shadow, always wanting to be by your side, and enjoys cuddling up after a good day. Oakley is incredibly independent and knows commands like "sit" and "get on your bed." He was found as a stray in rough circumstances and is now looking for a loving home where he can finally get the good life he deserves.

Ideal Home

Oakley would love a home where he can be your constant companion. He tolerates other dogs but would likely do best as the only canine in the household. Due to his prey drive, he should be in a home without cats or small critters he might be tempted to chase.

Ongoing Health

Oakley is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Oakley is already potty trained and walks well on a leash, even knowing to "slow down" when needed. He does have a tendency to chase cats and squirrels, so continued guidance in this area will be beneficial.

Transporation

Oakley is located in Houston, TX, and transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track their dog's transport via the Life360 app or through Facebook chats.
