Meet Daquiri, a 4 ½-year-old sweet boy who is a true cuddle bug. He thrives on companionship and is happiest when snuggled up with his favorite people. Daquiri used to be a social butterfly, but a negative experience with another dog has left him feeling shy and unsure around his canine friends. He's now looking for a patient and loving family or individual who can help him regain his confidence and feel safe again. With the right support, Daquiri is sure to blossom into the happy, playful dog he once was.
Ideal Home
Daquiri would do best in a home where he can feel secure and build his confidence. He is currently unsure around other dogs and would prefer a home without them, or one with a very slow and careful introduction process.
Ongoing Health
Daquiri is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations, as well as flea and heartworm prevention. He has also been microchipped and spayed/neutered.
Training & Support
Daquiri is still working on his confidence around other dogs. He will benefit from continued patience and positive reinforcement to help him feel more secure. He's a rescue dog, and like all rescues, he will require ongoing training efforts and understanding to help him be his best self.

Daquiri is located in Angleton, TX. Transportation is available to VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Our transport buses are equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You can follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook Event page.
