Smokey

Meet Smokey! This handsome 2-year-old, 60-pound boy is a Cane Corso / Weimaraner mix who came to us as a stray. Smokey is fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and is ready to shower his new family with love and affection. He's a smart and quick learner with a truly kind heart. Smokey is a laid-back, easygoing companion who enjoys cuddling on the couch and is happy to relax with you all day. He's a total couch potato who's more than happy to hang out and relax with you all day! He enjoys playing with other pups in his foster home but also loves to snuggle up and is more than happy to hang out and relax with you all day. He’s a total couch potato!

Ideal Home

Smokey would thrive in a low-traffic home due to his shyness with new people. He would love a home with someone who works from home or is only away for a few hours a day. He would prefer a home without cats.

Smokey is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Smokey is fully potty trained and walks great on a leash, though he can pull slightly when initially excited. He is a little nervous around strangers and may bark out of excitement but is easily redirected. Smokey is not a fan of being crated and does experience some separation anxiety, which can include crying when left alone. He doesn't tear things up and eventually settles, but it's recommended he have a house rather than an apartment and a family that can provide him with patience and understanding as he adjusts.
