Meet Tux Fancy Pants, the most dapper gentleman you'll ever encounter, sporting a built-in tuxedo! With his sleek black coat, endearing floppy ears, and a smile that could rival a glacier's melt, Tux is the perfect blend of handsome, goofy, and undeniably sweet. He's approximately a year and a half old, a wonderful mix of Labrador and Pitty (our best guess!), and a walking, wagging ray of sunshine.
Tux is a true snuggle bug who thrives on human companionship. His greatest joy comes from being near his people, soaking up cuddles, belly rubs, and all the compliments. You'll often find him leaning his entire body against you for pets or rolling onto his back, paws in the air, in a clear invitation for tummy scratches. He's a lover, not a fighter, and his affection is boundless.
Ideal Home
Tux dreams of a home with patient, loving humans who appreciate a touch of goofiness in life. He would love a friendly canine companion to share his days with, especially one who enjoys playtime and romp sessions in the yard. While he enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well with cats, he would thrive in a home that understands his need for calm, friendly interactions. Because Tux is a sensitive soul who prefers open spaces over city sidewalks, a home with a fenced yard is a must for him to stretch his legs and enjoy his zoomies. Apartments are not his ideal living situation; he's more of a suburban country club kind of guy.

Tux is making great progress with his leash skills. He's potty trained and sleeps through the night, showing excellent manners once he's settled. His foster family describes him as affectionate, hilarious, and an absolute sweetheart who will fill your heart daily.

Transporation
Tux is currently in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. For Canadian adopters, pick-up locations are in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. You'll have the opportunity to track your pet's journey in real-time, receive photo updates, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
