Sofia -- URGENT!

Sofia is a beautiful 5-year-old German Shepherd who is urgently in need of a loving home. She was found at the Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter and has been there since January 6th, 2026. Sadly, Sofia has been diagnosed with a treatable upper-respiratory illness and needs a safe and quiet place to recover. She is running out of time, and we are hoping to find her a wonderful family to give her the care she deserves.

Sofia would thrive in a home where she can receive gentle care and attention as she recovers. Due to the stressful shelter environment, we are seeking a home that can provide a calm and stable space for her.
