JANE

Hi, my name is Jane! I'm a sweet, approximately 6-year-old female, spayed dog who was found as a stray in Dallas. I'm currently in foster care and dreaming of my forever home! I absolutely love treats and attention, and I'm a medium to high-energy girl who enjoys both running and playing, as well as relaxing on the couch. I warm up quickly to new people and am a social butterfly, though I'm not sure about children yet. Because I have a strong prey drive, I would do best in a home without exotic pets, chickens, or cats. I'm a pro on the leash and love walks, though I can get a bit excited at first! Once we're out and about, I walk nicely and don't react to other dogs or people. I also enjoy running, so if you're a runner, that's a bonus! I know how to sit and take treats gently, and I'm learning to lay down, stay, and come when called. Mostly, I'm just a very happy girl looking for a place to call my own.

Ideal Home

Jane would do best in a home without other female dogs, and with male dogs who are more calm and submissive. She also needs a home without exotic pets, chickens, or cats due to her prey drive.

Ongoing Health

Jane is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jane knows how to sit and take treats gently. She is currently learning to lay down, stay, and come consistently. She may pull towards the door when excited, but walks well once outside.
