My name is Benzi, and I'm a 10-pound bundle of joy with a soft white coat and adorable black spots! My little pink nose and feet are just precious, but my foster mom says I'll need some sunscreen on my nose in the summer. I was found all by myself in New Mexico, covered in oil near a gas station. I'm not sure what happened to my family, but I'm doing great now and ready for my forever home! Don't let my small size fool you; I'm a fierce little pup who can hold my own, even with my foster puppy brother who's twice my size. I love to romp and play outside, especially when there's mud and sticks to explore! I have a blast wrestling with my foster siblings and all of our toys. I'm still learning potty and kennel training, but with a little patience and consistency, I know I'll master it. I can be a bit vocal when I'm unhappy, but I also love to let my foster mom know when it's time for cuddles! I'm a very affectionate pup and I absolutely love being close to my people, following them everywhere. I also enjoy snuggling with my pack, ideally right in the middle so I can get love from all sides.
Ideal Home
I'd love a home with dog siblings to play with and learn from, and I'm also good with kids! I thrive on companionship, so a home where someone is around often and willing to let me snuggle and sleep with them would be perfect.
Ongoing Health
I'm a healthy pup! Just a note that my pink nose will need some sun protection during the summer months.
Training & Support
I'm still working on potty and kennel training. I'm not the biggest fan of my kennel yet and will protest a bit at first, but I do settle down. I'm also learning to be gentle during playtime. I'm a smart cookie and eager to please, so with patience and positive reinforcement, I know I'll be a quick study!
