About Angus

Born in February 2026, Angus is a resilient goofball with a permanent happy attitude! He's a big boy, likely a Cane Corso and Great Dane mix, though his exact lineage is a bit of a mystery since he was acquired at a flea market. Despite a rough start that left him malnourished and with a fractured leg, Angus is thriving and his spirit is as strong as ever. His injured leg is healing a bit crooked, giving him a slight limp, but it doesn't slow him down one bit and doesn't appear to cause him pain. Angus is a playful, curious puppy who approaches every day with infectious enthusiasm.

Ideal Home

Angus adores children but is still learning gentle play. He's working on not launching his entire body at people he loves, so an adopter who can guide him with positive reinforcement and patient training will be key.

Ongoing Health

Angus has a femoral fracture that is healing on its own, resulting in a slight limp. The current recommendation is to monitor the leg; if it becomes painful in the future, amputation may be considered. Angus will also need to be neutered around one year of age, and the adopter will need to sign a contract regarding this future procedure.

Training & Support

Angus is doing a great job with potty training. He's still learning to control his enthusiastic greetings, especially around children, and needs continued guidance on gentle play. He can be loud when meeting new dogs, but generally does well with them once introductions are made.
