Walter is looking for a feline-free sanctuary. He'd much rather spend his time focusing all his love and attention on his humans and canine pals! He would do best with a medium-energy dog sibling who enjoys playtime but also appreciates a good afternoon nap. He's happy in a big backyard or a cozy city apartment due to his excellent leash manners.

Walter is up-to-date on all vetting, including vaccines, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.
Training & Support
Walter is already crate trained and potty trained, making his transition into your home a breeze. He's been a perfect gentleman in his crate and is a dream in the car, ready to be your co-pilot for any adventure. He is also dog-social and fantastic at reading other dogs' body language, knowing how to politely ask for space when needed.

Walter is currently in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You can track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
