Miley

Miley is a sweet 5-year-old Pittie girl who arrived at the shelter as a stray and was never reclaimed by her previous owners. She was initially very skinny and fearful, but with love and care, she's learned that not all humans are to be feared. Miley is blossoming out of her shell and has become a very sweet and submissive companion. She's ready to find a loving home where she can continue to gain confidence and thrive.

Ideal Home

Miley would do best in a calm household environment. Due to her nerves, a home with no steps and no small children is recommended. While she hasn't had formal dog introductions, we are open to the possibility of her living with another dog and will conduct a meet and greet if you have a furry friend at home.

Ongoing Health

Miley arrived underweight, but she is now on the road to recovery and doing much better. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Miley is still working on building her confidence. A patient and understanding adopter will help her continue to blossom. A required meet and greet with any resident dogs will help ensure a smooth transition.

Miley is located at the Burlington County Animal Shelter in Mount Holly, NJ. Transport options may be available.
