Diet Dr. Pepper

Diet Dr. Pepper, affectionately known as Pep, is a young, extra-large Akbash mix who found himself abandoned and a bit battered at a local dog park. Thankfully, the Mountains Humane Society has been showering him with care, helping him recover and regain his strength. Pep is a remarkably chill companion who, despite his size, is relatively low-energy and truly adores affection.

Ideal Home

Pep would thrive in a home where he can continue to be the loving and affectionate boy he is. He's already proven to be a great housemate, not being destructive and doing well when left alone. He's also a social butterfly, happily coexisting with his foster dog sisters and even a resident cat!

Ongoing Health

Pep is recovering from being found underweight with some cuts and scrapes, but he's now on the mend thanks to the dedicated care he's received. He is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

This bright young dog is already housebroken and shows great promise with his trainability. He's not a destructive pup and gets along well with other animals, making him a fantastic addition to an already animal-friendly household.
