Jimmy is a 1.5-year-old, neutered male Pitbull Terrier mix who weighs around 45 pounds. He's a happy-go-lucky, energetic boy who is ready to make friends with everyone he meets, both human and canine! Jimmy has two speeds: full throttle for playtime and full snuggle when it's time to relax. He loves to play and is always eager to engage in a game, but he's also content to curl up on the couch with his favorite people. Jimmy is very affectionate and thrives on physical touch and companionship. He has a mischievous smirk that perfectly matches his fun-loving personality.
Ideal Home
Jimmy would thrive in an active home where he gets plenty of exercise, attention, and affection. He would love a work-from-home human or an active family who will include him in daily life. Another playful dog could be a great match, especially if they enjoy high-energy play. Jimmy can be a bit too enthusiastic for very young children without supervision.
Ongoing Health
Jimmy is fully house-trained with only minor early adjustment issues. Crate training is a work in progress, but he is making great strides. He has no resource guarding, though he does think every toy is the best toy.
Training & Support
Jimmy is still polishing his leash manners, as he can pull when excited and is very curious about his surroundings. With consistency and some solo walks, he will continue to improve quickly as he is very food and praise-motivated and eager to learn.
