Lily

Meet Lily! She's a sweet, loving Shepherd mix, 5 years old and weighing 65 pounds. Lily was rescued from Mexico as a puppy and has blossomed into a gentle soul. While she may be a bit timid at first, she quickly warms up to her caregivers, her favorite pastime being to gaze into your eyes while you stroke her face. You'll also discover her goofy side when she's excited, which often happens when food or attention is involved. Her whole body wiggles with joy as she wags her tail! Lily loves basking in the sun or relaxing by an open door, enjoying the fresh breeze and the sounds of nature. She enjoys walks but is also a bit of a homebody and can get tired on long hikes or runs. Lily is not a fan of fireworks and will seek out a safe hiding spot, like a closet or pantry, if she hears them.

Ideal Home

Lily would thrive in a home where she can relax and enjoy gentle companionship. While she has lived with other dogs and should do well with older children, introductions to new furry friends and little humans should be done thoughtfully.

Ongoing Health

Lily is spayed, healthy, and up to date on all her vaccinations. A couple of years ago, she underwent knee surgery for a torn ACL. She recovered well and has shown no issues since her weight stabilized.

Training & Support

Lily is house-trained and knows some basic commands. She is very food-motivated, which can be a great asset in continued training!
