Russell

Big, beautiful Russell, or "Big Boy" as we affectionately call him, is a classic Great Pyrenees – sweet, gentle, laid-back, and incredibly friendly. He arrived at the Bell County TX Animal Shelter as a stray. At two years old, he's tall and rangy, with a lovely golden sheen on his back, and at 80 lbs, he's ready to fill out his frame. Russell is a dream to live with; he's house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained. He absolutely loves car rides and can happily ride for hours. With his big, football-helmet-shaped head, he's always ready to greet you with loving gestures and a wagging tail.

Ideal Home

Russell would thrive in a home with another dog to play with, as he enjoys having a canine companion. He would also enjoy a home where he can have a playmate to toss his favorite toy bone around with.

Ongoing Health

Russell is fully vetted, neutered, and tested negative for heartworms.

Training & Support

Russell is already house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, making him a well-behaved companion.
