TOBY

Toby is a 1-year-old, 69 lb Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. Toby is an energetic, treat-motivated pup who loves to run and play in the yard! He also loves hard toys that keep him busy. Toby has lived with children before but sometimes forgets how big he is, so he would do best in a home with older kids who can keep up with his boundless energy. He does well with dogs who have a similar energy level and play style, but he does not do well around cats. Toby is potty trained and has started to pull less on the leash when using a no-pull harness, which he would greatly benefit from continuing to use. Toby knows the "sit" command.

Ideal Home

Toby would thrive in a patient and active home that can keep his body and brain busy. He would do best with older children who can run with him and are less likely to be knocked over by his enthusiastic nature. Toby is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Toby has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Toby is still learning his manners and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training. He already knows how to "sit." A no-pull harness is recommended for leash walking to help him improve his manners on walks.
