Enzo Baby is a sweet and gentle boy who will have you picturing your life with him in no time! With his soft fur, floppy ears, and oversized puppy feet, he's as handsome as he is cuddly. Enzo is about 5 months old and weighs around 37 lbs. We suspect he's a German Shepherd mix with maybe a touch of Bloodhound, but with rescue, breed and age are always a mystery! He's an affectionate pup who wants to be wherever his people are, whether that's on an adventure or snoozing at your feet.
Ideal Home
Enzo would be happiest in a home with a friendly canine companion, as he absolutely loves the company of other dogs. He was also respectful of a resident cat during his foster's introduction, and we can arrange a sleepover with a cat upon request to ensure a good match. Enzo is pretty relaxed and has the potential to thrive in various living situations, including an apartment or condo.
Ongoing Health
Enzo is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Enzo is a smart cookie! He's already crate trained, potty trained, and has wonderful house manners. He also rides beautifully in the car and is learning to walk nicely on a leash. He's very food motivated, which will make continuing his training a fun and rewarding experience. While he's good with new people, he can be a little shy initially, but with continued socialization and routine, he's sure to blossom.

Transportation
Enzo is currently in Texas but can be transported nationwide via our rescue-run, USDA-certified transport system. We offer drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Please note there is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
