Hello, I’m Hunter. 🐕🐾

I’m a quiet, independent guy who likes to take things slow and really observe the world around me. You could say I’m a professional people-watcher! I like to look from a distance and make sure a situation is safe before I join in on the fun, so I’m looking for a patient forever family who will give me the time and space I need to warm up. My foster parents say I’m an incredibly quick learner. Every day before dinner, we do a fun training session, and I love learning new things! I'm already fully crate trained, and while I'm still working on my outdoor house training, I am totally a pro at using my pee pads. I wake up, enjoy breakfast, take a little nap, and then have lots of playtime! After that, I’m happy to take another long nap while my fosters are away at work. I do great when left alone! My brother and I have been left for up to 6 hours with absolutely no issues. Because I’m so naturally quiet, I’d be a perfect fit for an apartment. I am very gentle and do great with children! As for cats? I’m pretty curious about them, but to be honest, I’m still not entirely sure what they actually are!

Training & Support

I am fully crate trained and a pro at using my pee pads. I am still working on my outdoor house training. I can be a little sassy when it comes to sharing my toys, and I'm still learning that there are plenty to go around. While I generally do well with other dogs, sharing a home with another pup is something we’d need to work on together because of my independent nature.
