Honey Comb is a sweet, affectionate, and wonderfully silly 6-year-old Terrier mix who weighs 68 lbs. She’s the perfect blend of playful energy and chill vibes, making her an ideal companion for almost any home. Honey Comb absolutely adores her humans and will always find a way to be close, whether it’s resting her head on your lap or nuzzling in for a cuddle. While she loves being near you, she's also independent and can entertain herself, making her an excellent work-from-home buddy. When it’s time for fun, she’s always ready with a happy bounce and zoomies around the yard. She’s great with kids of all ages and greets everyone with a big smile and a signature "stop, drop, and roll" for belly rubs. Honey Comb has excellent manners, is incredibly smart, and learns routines quickly, showing great respect for food. She’s ready to fill your days with cuddles, smiles, and unconditional love.
Ideal Home
Honey Comb would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where she can play fetch and sunbathe. She prefers a quieter suburban or rural setting over a busy city. As she can be a bit of a happy mover, a home with children aged 4 and up is recommended. She would also prefer to be the only pet in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention. A feline-free home is recommended as she has not been tested with cats.

Honey Comb is kennel trained, potty trained, and leash trained. She communicates her need to go potty by tap dancing by the door and is trustworthy to be left alone. She is happy to sleep in a kennel or on a dog bed next to your bed, but would truly love to sleep with her forever family.

Honey Comb is currently in a foster home in Austin, TX. She can be adopted and transported to various locations, with monthly transports available. Adoptive families will need to meet the transport to pick up their new family member. Please note that dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported.
