Penelope

Penelope is a 8-year-old, 17.2-pound Shih Tzu who is a sweet ray of sunshine. She is full of life, love, and fun, and doesn't let her age slow her down. Penelope loves to be involved in whatever you're doing, whether it's supervising in the kitchen, cuddling on the couch, or joining you for a walk. She is thriving in her foster home and enjoys playing with the resident Pug. Penelope is also doing great with her routine and is already pretty much housebroken.

Penelope would thrive in a home where she can be a constant companion and be loved and cherished.

Ongoing Health

Penelope recently underwent surgery to be spayed and have a mammary tumor removed. The tumor was found to be low-grade malignant with clear margins, meaning it should not return in that spot. However, she may develop additional mammary tumors in the future, which would require prompt attention. Penelope is feeling great and enjoying life!

Training & Support

Penelope is already pretty much housebroken and is doing great with her routine. She is a playful and happy girl who is ready to be someone's loyal companion.
