Mars

Meet Mars, a delightful 2-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who weighs between 45-50 lbs. This sweet boy was found abandoned near a gas station, but thankfully, some kind locals and the Adore team came to his rescue. Now, Mars is at a dog trainer's, learning to trust and love again. He's incredibly friendly and greets everyone with enthusiasm. Mars also enjoys the company of other dogs, especially those who love to play! With a little guidance, he could also adapt to a home with cats. He'd be happiest in a home with older children, as he can be quite energetic and might accidentally knock over younger ones. His recall is fantastic, making him a wonderful candidate for an active family.

Ongoing Health

Mars is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is heartworm positive and has begun treatment. We will provide monthly Heartgard to his future adopter to cover the remainder of his treatment.

Training & Support

Mars is currently boarding with a dog trainer and is learning to become a dog again. He is not yet house-trained.
