Buddy McBee is a handsome 3.5-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who weighs 63 lbs. Buddy is a sweet soul who has overcome a challenging past and is now ready to find his forever home. He can be a little shy at first, but with patience and a gentle approach, his loving and affectionate personality truly shines. He enjoys playtime and needs an outlet for his energy. Buddy has made great strides in his training, including learning commands like "sit," "shake," and "down," and has even undergone professional training for muzzle work and calm behavior.
Ideal Home
Buddy would do best with a calm, experienced dog owner who understands that building trust takes time. He is not suited for first-time dog owners but would thrive with someone patient and steady. He is sensitive to his owner's energy, so a calm and confident presence will help him feel secure. He would prefer a home without young children but could potentially do well with a mellow and respectful canine companion.

Buddy is up-to-date on all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies) and has been spayed/neutered and microchipped.
Training & Support
Buddy is leash-trained and knows several basic commands. He has worked with a professional trainer, including muzzle training and learning to be calm. He will benefit from continued positive reinforcement and a steady, consistent environment to help him continue to build confidence.

Transportation
Buddy is located in South Texas and will be transported to his new home after adoption. We deliver to multiple states on the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, and Virginia, with placement directly in adoptive families' homes.
