Daisy May (EXPERIENCED ADOPTERS ONLY)

Daisy May is a delightful girl who loves just about everything! Belly rubs? Loves them! Sticks? Absolutely adores them! She's a queen of her yard, often seen dragging branches around and reigning from her favorite spot. Daisy May also enjoys a good game of hide-and-seek, though she admits she's not the best at hiding! She's a wonderful companion for an experienced adopter who enjoys a bit of adventure and lots of fun.

Ideal Home

Daisy May would thrive in a home with experienced adopters who understand and can manage anxiety in dogs. She needs a patient and understanding environment, especially during big life transitions like moving to a new home.

Ongoing Health

Daisy May experiences anxiety and is currently managing it with medication. When she feels anxious, overwhelmed, or frustrated, she can become "mouthy" towards her handler. She is seeing a veterinary behaviorist, and we are hopeful for continued improvement with her treatment plan.

Training & Support

While Daisy May responds well to her anti-anxiety medication, significant changes can sometimes cause her anxiety to recur more frequently. She has a lot of energy and would benefit from daily walks, adventures, and playtime, especially with other dogs. She enjoys chasing, tug-of-war, and agility-style play. Daisy May does well with other dogs and cats, provided introductions are done slowly. She's even met turtles! She is spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations, and microchipped. All dogs from Better World Rescue come with complimentary training.
