Ideal Home
Zara needs a securely fenced yard, as walks on a leash will likely take time due to her fear of the outside world. A quieter, suburban or rural home will be much better suited for Zara than a busy city environment. Zara should not be introduced to new people until she has fully adjusted to her new surroundings, which may take several months, so she is not currently suited for a home with small children. A calm, resident dog would be ideal to help her adjust and feel more comfortable in her new environment. She also gets along with dog-savvy, chill cats, although she does have a bit of a prey drive when it comes to squirrels.
