Ruby Sue (Senior girl just looking for love)

Hi, I'm Ruby Sue. I'm a 9-year-old, 24-pound beagle girl with the softest ears you've ever seen and just enough pep in my step to remind everyone that age is just a number. I still love sniffing every blade of grass, taking leisurely walks, and soaking up all the love you have to give. I'm everything people adore about beagles—sweet, gentle, curious, and always ready to be your loyal shadow. Someone dumped me when I needed them most. I had a painful mass that needed to be removed and my ears were badly infected. Thankfully, kind people made sure I got the medical care I deserved. Now I'm feeling so much better and ready to leave my past behind. What I want now is simple: a soft bed, a family who won't give up on me, and a home where I'll never wonder why I was left behind. Senior dogs have a special way of loving. We don't ask for much—we're just grateful for every meal, every cuddle, every walk, and every day we get to spend with our people.
