About Molly

Meet Molly! This sweet, playful, and fun-loving 1-year-old, 50lb spayed lab mix is ready to steal your heart and fill your home with joy and endless tail wags! Molly is a happy girl who absolutely loves to play. Whether she's romping around with another dog or inviting her humans to join in the fun, she's always ready for a good time. Her play style is energetic but gentle—she loves bouncing around, running circles under her dog friends, and giving playful little nibbles to their ankles or hind legs to keep the game going. With people, she'll gently tap you with her paw or rest her paws on your hands to ask for attention, often rewarding you with sweet kisses and little affectionate nibbles.

Even though she's enthusiastic about making new friends, Molly has wonderful dog manners. She happily greets other dogs with a wagging tail and a curious sniff, and she's respectful when another dog lets her know they're done playing. She's enjoyed playing with dogs of all sizes, from a tiny 6-pound Yorkie to a 60-pound Husky! Molly walks nicely on leash and is continuing to build her confidence with new experiences. Passing cars can sometimes startle her, but she's making great progress with gentle exposure and reassurance. She's fully house-trained and loves relaxing in her crate, although she doesn't need to be crated when you're away. She's trustworthy when left loose in the house and has shown no signs of resource guarding around food, treats, or toys. Molly has a moderate energy level overall but quickly kicks it into high gear when there's a playmate around. Her personality is a wonderful mix of independent, curious, and playful. She's always interested in what's going on around her while still enjoying time with her people. Molly has met children ages 5 and 9 and was comfortable around them. While she hasn't had much interaction with cats, she has remained calm and non-reactive when seeing one on a walk.

Ideal Home

Molly would thrive in a home with another playful dog, but she'd also do well with an active adult or a family with playful children who can help meet her social and exercise needs.

Ongoing Health

Molly is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Molly is fully house-trained and crate-trained, though she doesn't require crating when unsupervised. She is making great progress with building confidence around passing cars.
