Sully

Sully is a sweet and gentle male Labrador Mix, approximately 3-4 years old and weighing around 50 lbs. He has a congenital hip condition, and while surgery isn't an option, this loving boy enjoys car rides and taking in the scenery. Sully is social and friendly, easily trusting people and enjoying the company of other dogs, though he prefers not to be constantly handled. He has a beautiful smile and an easygoing nature, ready to deeply love his forever family in a peaceful home where he can rest comfortably and receive affection without the need for extensive exercise.

Ideal Home

Sully would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a quiet and peaceful environment, and while he enjoys being around other dogs, he's not overly fond of constant physical contact. Families should have a genuine intention to rescue, understanding the needs of street animals, and possess experience in dog behavior and training or be willing to hire a trainer. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are essential.

Sully has a congenital hip condition, and unfortunately, surgery is not an option. As a result, he cannot remain standing for long periods and requires a calm, low-activity lifestyle.

Training & Support

Sully is not house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued pets may have experienced trauma and require an adjustment period. Patience, understanding, and establishing a routine are crucial for building trust and helping Sully feel secure.

Transportation

Sully is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast. Door-to-door delivery is available through a partnered transport company, with scheduled trips 3-4 times a year. A transport fee of $400 USD covers the journey from Mexico to your home. Regular updates on your pet's journey will be provided through a private Facebook Messenger group.
