Rye

Meet Rye! This sweet 4-year-old female has a loving personality and a gentle heart. While her exact breed is a bit of a mystery, her charm is undeniable. She gets along well with other dogs and truly thrives when she has a canine companion around during the day. Rye enjoys going on walks and does great on a leash. She already knows how to sit on command and is always happy to show off for a tasty treat. At home, she loves cozy comforts—especially a soft dog bed and curling up with you at night. She can be a little unsure around men at first and may bark, but once they sit down and give her a moment, she warms up quickly and happily accepts pets and attention. Her experience with cats and children is unknown. Rye hasn’t been crate trained and is used to a home without a doggy door, but she adapts well and has a very easygoing nature. Above all, she adores affection—hugs, kisses, and treats are the way to her heart!

Ideal Home

Rye would make a wonderful addition to a variety of homes, especially one where she’ll get plenty of love and companionship (both human and canine). A home with another dog to keep her company during the day would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Rye has no known health issues.

Training & Support
