Nitro

Nitro is a handsome 5-year-old shepherd mix with a heart full of love to give. He came to us with a difficult past, having been found injured under a porch with a gunshot wound to his leg. We were able to provide him with life-saving care, which included the amputation of his shattered back leg. Despite his ordeal, Nitro is the sweetest, most lovable boy. He is gentle, dog-friendly, and walks beautifully on a leash. He's also crate trained, housetrained, and a very well-mannered companion. All Nitro wants is a loving home to share his life with. We promised him the rest of his life would be the best of his life, and we hope you can make that happen for him!

Nitro has had one of his back legs amputated due to a past injury.

Training & Support

Nitro is already crate trained, housetrained, and walks well on a leash. He is a well-mannered boy who just needs a loving family to continue his positive reinforcement.

Transportation

We are located in South Carolina and transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet.
