Yogi Bear

Yogi is a 5-year-old, 63-pound Lab/Shar-Pei mix with a super soft chestnut coat and a perpetually smiling, slightly wrinkled face. She has a calm and devoted nature, seeking to be your constant companion. Yogi is friendly and affectionate once she gets to know you, settling into a new home with ease. She is fully potty and crate trained, walks well on a leash with minor reminders, and is generally low-maintenance and adaptable. Yogi enjoys daily walks and playtime but is also content to relax at home, making her suitable for both houses and apartments.

Ideal Home

Yogi would do best in a home with older, respectful children (10 years and up) and an adopter who appreciates a dog with deep bonds. She can be a bit selective with other dogs, preferring calmer, easygoing canine companions for one-on-one interactions, or she can thrive as an only dog. She has been exposed to cats and did well with them.

Ongoing Health

Yogi is currently heartworm positive and has begun treatment. She will need a committed adopter who can continue her care. Otherwise, she is a healthy, wonderful dog ready for her next chapter.

Training & Support

Yogi is already potty and crate trained and walks well on leash. She is a loyal companion who just wants to be part of your world.

Transporation

Yogi is currently being fostered in Texas and will be transported to her forever home by our rescue. We have transports departing each week.
