About Daisy

Daisy is a 3-year-old, 60-pound, spayed Pit Bull mix who has already survived more than most dogs ever should-yet she remains one of the sweetest, most affectionate souls you'll ever meet. Her story began when she was found wandering the woods in Broadway, pregnant and alone. She disappeared for a couple of weeks, and when she was finally seen again, her puppies were nowhere in sight. Through the community, it was later learned that her babies were either taken or tragically run over. Her condition made it apparent that she had endured multiple litters. Despite everything she experienced, Daisy never gave up. When she was safely trapped, it quickly became clear that she had belonged to someone at some point. She knew her commands, was crate trained, and was comfortable on car rides. On her very first night safe indoors, this "feral woods dog" climbed straight into a lap and melted in-choosing trust, choosing love. While it's obvious she was not always treated kindly, what shines even brighter is her incredible capacity for forgiveness and connection. Beneath her rough start is a dog who simply wants to love and be loved. At 60 pounds, she's the perfect mix of strong and snuggly. Daisy is affectionate to her core-a leaner, a cuddler, a lap-seeker. She bonds deeply and loves wholeheartedly. Daisy survived. She forgave. She chose love. Now, she just needs someone to choose her.

Ideal Home

Daisy does well with other dogs but would also be perfectly happy as the only pup in the home. She does not do well with cats, so a cat-free home is required.
