DANNY

Herroooo West Coast! My name is DANNY and I'm a 8-year-old, 34 lb, male Labrador Shepherd Mix looking for my forever home. I was rescued off the streets in Mexico by a kind veterinarian and have been with her for 3.5 years. I was a little withdrawn at first because I didn't have a human to take care of me, but now I'm a kind, sweet, and chill boy who loves to be around my people. I'm a pretty independent boy, but I do love to ask for snugs! When I greet new people, I like to bark to say hello. Thunderstorms can be a little scary for me, so I prefer to hide away until they pass. I have a moderate energy level and enjoy playing with a ball!

Ideal Home

I get along with cats and female dogs. I'm still a bit selective with male dogs, and unsure about kids. I might be tempted by squirrels or rabbits, so my new family should be prepared to train me if those situations arise.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. I had some skin issues and an injury on my belly when I was rescued that required surgery, but I have healed completely and am in tip-top shape!

Training & Support

I am house-trained and absolutely love leash walks! Crate training and car training are still works in progress. Consistency and positive reinforcement will help me succeed in my new environment.
