DOUGAL

Meet Dougal! This handsome 2-year-old Sheepadoodle weighs in at a sturdy 68 lbs. Dougal is a truly lovely companion, described as easy-going, laid-back, and so well-behaved that his foster family sometimes forgets he's there! He gets along wonderfully with other rescue dogs and enjoys his indoor time, especially when it's hot outside. As the day cools down, he loves to come out and play with his pals, enjoy some tasty chew treats, and enthusiastically chase squirrels.

Ideal Home

Dougal needs a securely fenced yard to keep him safe while he enjoys his outdoor time. He is not suited for a home with children under the age of 8.

Ongoing Health

Dougal has successfully completed treatment for heartworms and is expected to test negative in 4-6 months.

Training & Support

Dougal appears to be well-house trained. While he is generally leash-trained, he does tend to pull and will need a strong hand to guide him.
