A little about them

Meet Oso, a handsome male Anatolian Shepherd with a gentle heart and a second chance to find a forever home. Neutered and weighing about 95 pounds, Oso is currently very underweight and needs a patient family committed to helping him become healthy and secure.

Oso is sweet, cooperative, and good-natured. He has done well with people, is comfortable around cats, and appears to do well with female dogs. He is not a fan of male dogs, so he may be happiest as the only dog or with a compatible female dog. Oso walks wonderfully on leash and has good house manners.

Ideal Home

Oso needs an adopter with experience caring for large-breed dogs, especially Anatolian Shepherds. He would benefit from time, patience, nutritious food, and a calm opportunity to settle in. A home with no male dogs, or with a compatible female dog, would likely be the best fit.

Ongoing Health

Oso is currently underweight and needs support returning to a healthy weight. His adoption fee includes his first two DAPP vaccinations, bordetella, deworming, flea preventative, a heartworm test, sterilization, and a microchip.
