Meet Norman!
This handsome, snuggly four-and-a-half-year-old Labrador Retriever/American Pitbull Terrier mix weighs 73 pounds and has a heart as big as his frame! His unique tortilla chip-shaped ears add an extra dose of charm to his already lovable look. Norman is a gentle and goofy soul who lives for cuddles, comfy dog beds, and quality time with his people. He's a classic couch potato with a silly streak – often flopping onto his back mid-snuggle to flash you his best "aren't I adorable?" grin. Walks, training games, and belly rubs are high on his list of favorite things, and he absolutely shines when given love and structure. His routine is flexible, and he's happy as long as he's got someone to nap near and a little mental stimulation each day. Norman is crate trained, house-trained, and knows several commands including "sit," "stay," "down," and "place." He's currently mastering "leave it" and responds well to positive reinforcement and consistency.
Ideal Home
Norman does best in a calm, structured environment with a secure, fenced yard. He prefers a home without small children. He is compatible with older, respectful kids and some dogs, provided introductions are slow and managed carefully.

Norman is crate trained, house-trained, and knows several commands including "sit," "stay," "down," and "place." He's currently mastering "leave it." He responds well to positive reinforcement and consistency. Norman can be selective with both dogs and new people and has shown reactivity in certain situations outside the home, requiring careful introductions and continued guidance. While he has had a bite incident involving a neighbor, those familiar with him describe it as an accident in a specific circumstance, not a reflection of his true nature. His adoption includes four professional training sessions and a full month of behavioral guidance from a consultant to support a smooth transition and continued success.
