Meet Petunia! This adorable 11-month-old Lab mix is a sweet, social girl who loves people, dogs, kids, and being part of an active family. She comes from an area where many puppies are sadly euthanized due to lack of space, so by adopting Petunia, you're not only saving her life, but also opening up a spot for another dog in need. Petunia is playful, curious, and affectionate, fitting right into a busy family life. She's great at reading cues from other dogs and is gentle and loving with children and cats. Petunia has a wonderful balance of playful energy and cuddly sweetness, enjoying romps in the snow and cozy naps.
Ideal Home
Petunia would thrive in a home ready for the fun and adventure of raising a puppy. She'd love a family of any size that enjoys spending time together, whether it's playing in the yard, going for walks, or relaxing at home. She would enjoy having a canine sibling but would also be happy as an only dog.
Ongoing Health
All vetting is up to date, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Petunia is still young and will need a family committed to training, socialization, and the dedication puppyhood requires. Implementing routine, structure, boundaries, and proper socialization from the start is essential. Crate training is required immediately upon arrival to help with potty training, energy management, and developing a well-balanced adult dog.

Transporation
Petunia is currently in the Indianapolis, IN area. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations include: WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
