Meet Lucky and Piper! These two loyal boys are a bonded pair looking for a home where they can continue to share their quiet, steady companionship. Lucky, a seven-year-old, 55-pound American Pitbull Terrier mix, is the devoted shadow dog who thrives on being near his person. He knows commands like sit, come, whistle recall, and shake, and he excels with positive reinforcement and treat-based training. Piper, a gentle and easygoing twelve-year-old, 68-pound Hound mix, brings a sense of calm to everyone he meets. He is friendly with dogs, children, cats, and people, and appreciates a comfortable bed and a predictable routine. Together, they offer each other emotional continuity and a deep sense of security.

Ideal Home

Lucky and Piper need a home with a securely fenced yard. Lucky requires a home without cats, birds, or small animals due to his strong prey drive. They are looking for a family who will honor their bond and keep them together.

Ongoing Health

Lucky requires daily medication to manage anxiety during severe weather and fireworks. Both dogs are microchipped, current on parasite prevention, and scheduled for routine veterinary care later this year.

Training & Support

Lucky thrives with positive reinforcement and treat-based learning. He needs a patient, experienced guardian who understands he needs time and space to trust. He cannot be picked up and needs ramp or step access for vehicles.
