Found alone on a remote road near Playa Las Tortugas, Avicii was rescued by a kind camper who simply could not walk away. A local yaca farmer had been feeding him once a day for weeks, and this sweet boy survived because compassionate people stepped in. His full-body wiggle is a result of surviving distemper, but it does not slow him down or dim his joy one bit. He is a distemper survivor with a signature full-body wiggle, and he is sweet, social, and absolutely loves people. Avicii is also great with other dogs and can now be seen running and playing in Area 2. Found alone but thriving with care, his vetting is complete and he is ready to find his forever home. If you are looking for someone to keep the beat in your life, Avicii is your boy!

- Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.
Transportation
Avicii is located near Bucerias, Mexico. He can be transported to the US and Canada. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. This option has been successfully used by volunteers to bring dogs to their adopters at the border.
