Skipper's journey began when he and his three brothers were found abandoned in a rural area. Thankfully, a kind couple rescued them and brought them to safety. Now, Skipper is ready to find his forever family and share his loving nature.
Skipper is a water enthusiast who absolutely loves splashing in his puppy pool and "snorkeling" for fallen leaves! While his coat is short and wavy, he has dew claws and longer legs, which might suggest some Anatolian Shepherd or Great Pyrenees in his lineage. He's a bright puppy who is crate-trained and progressing well with house training. Walking on a harness is going great, and he's a quiet and calm traveler, making him an ideal road trip companion. With his adorable one-ear-up, one-ear-down look, Skipper is sure to steal your heart. He enjoys playing fetch, is learning to "sit," and loves a good romp with his brother. Given his age and adaptability, he would likely adjust well to living with a feline friend. Ongoing Health
Skipper is microchipped and up-to-date on his shots. He will be adopted with a neuter contract. The adopter will be financially responsible for his neuter surgery when he reaches the appropriate age, as determined by a veterinarian. Proof of the procedure will be required by the rescue.
Training & Support
Skipper is crate-trained and making progress with house training. He is learning to walk on a harness and is also working on the "sit" command.
