Snuffy KF

Meet Snuffleupagus, or Snuffy as his friends call him! This approximately 90-pound gentle giant is a true lovebug, overflowing with affection and a desire to be your loyal shadow. Snuffy's favorite activity is being close to his person, often following you from room to room. He'll greet you with slow tail wags, soulful eyes, and full-body leans when he's seeking some love. Be prepared for a cuddly companion who has no idea about personal space – he might just try to climb into your lap! Snuffy is crate trained but prefers not to be confined. He'll let you know when he needs to go outside, but he'll need you to open the door for him. He's a respectful house guest, unless you count his impressive snoring, which is often compared to a freight train with a tuba!

Ideal Home

Snuffy would thrive in a laid-back home with humans who appreciate a "velcro dog" with a gentle soul. He is NOT built for the heat and must be kept indoors in a cool, climate-controlled environment, especially when temperatures rise above 80 degrees.

Ongoing Health

Snuffy has some ongoing medical issues that require a family committed to his health and well-being. He will need special attention and veterinary support.

Training & Support

Snuffy politely lets you know when he needs to go outside. He does seem hard of hearing, but responds well when he catches your eye.
