MEET RUFAS, a handsome 5-year-old Irish Setter who is single and ready to mingle! Rufas is looking for a committed partner who understands that he has a past, but is ready for a beautiful future. He's officially retired from being a puppy mill daddy and has entered his soft-boy era. Rufas is a graduate of the Good Boy Academy with a degree in "Sit" and a minor in "Paw," and is currently auditing Leash Walking 101. He boasts a beautiful crimson coat and gorgeous floppy ears, and his heart is full of untapped potential.

Rufas spent the first couple of years of his life working a job he didn't love, but now he's looking for someone to spoil him. Everything in the "real world" is new and exciting to him, from ceiling fans to the TV, and he finds your couch to be absolutely elite. He's incredibly humble and is looking for a human who will be patient with him as he learns how to be a pampered pet.

Rufas would thrive with a patient, kind, and generous adopter who is also generous with high-value treats. If you don't like giving ear scratches, Rufas is not the dog for you!
